THE VALHALLA FESTIVAL 2014

The Valhalla Festival är en fortsättning på ‘The Villa Festival’, en årlig festival för post industrial, neofolk, dark ambient, neoclassical och experimentell musik i Italien, som arrangeras i en villa från 1800-talet belägen i Monte del Lago – en festival som redan lämnat sitt distinkta avtryck.
På grund av renoveringsarbeten i Villa Aganoor Pompilj under 2014 kommer festivalen tillfälligt att flyttas till Skandinavien, närmare bestämt till lokalen Hallarna i Norrköping – där ett flertal av de mest namnkunniga och inflyteserika projekten inom dark ambient och post industrial scenen kommer att medverka vid detta unika tillfälle : The Valhalla Festival.
Dark ambient har alltid varit en del av programmet vid The Villa Festival genom åren, och den här gången är tanken att särskilt uppmärksamma ett sound och en rörelse som, alltsedan slutet av 80-talet haft sin grogrund och upprinnelse i just den här regionen.

The Valhalla Festival is the continuation of "The Villa Festival" an annual Post-Industrial, Neofolk, Dark Ambient, NeoClassic, Martial, Experimental live music venue in Italy where previously "The Villa Festival" event had it's own unique experimental  footprint in a historical 19th century palace. For a reason of restoration of Villa Aganoor Pompilj, The Villa Festival will move momentarily to Scandinavian area (Sweden, Norrkoping) in 2014. Several of Sweden's most renowned Dark Ambient artists will perform on this special evening : The Valhalla Festival. In the past editions of The Villa Festival in Italy, we've promoted DarkAmbient and now The Valhalla Festival is born to enhance a certain original root of Dark Ambient sound which has been growing since the late 80s in Sweden (Linkoping/Norrkoping).

The Valhalla Festival è la continuazione del The Villa Festival, che per motivi di completamento restauri di Villa Aganoor Pompilj, si trasferirà momentaneamente in Scandinavia (Norrkoping-Svezia) dove ci attenderanno infatti Desiderii Marginis e altri vari progetti e gruppi Svedesi. Durante le passate edizioni del Villa Festival, con entusiasmo abbiamo proposto Dark Ambient e, il Valhalla Festival, sarà quindi un ulteriore approfondimento proprio in quei luoghi che hanno visto crescere certe specifiche sonorità sin dalla fine degli '80 (Linkoping/Norrkoping in Svezia). Per semplicità ci riferiamo ad una "generica” Dark Ambient, ma ogni act dell'evento, rivelerà una propria ed unica impronta d'elettronica sperimentale. A breve  potrete trovare tutte le informazioni necessarie e consigli su dove dormire e come arrivare agevolmente al locale (partendo dal piu vicino aeroporto internazionale Skavsta-Stoccolma). All'interno del locale predisposto ci saranno delle proiezioni video ed una esposizione d'arte.
